The Radiographers Board has decided to continue the voluntary continuing professional development (CPD) scheme for three more years with effect on 1 January 2009. All registered radiographers are invited to participate in the voluntary scheme.
The Board has recently reviewed the scheme and made a number of amendments to sections 3.3, 4.2 and Form I / II of the Manual for CPD. Details of the scheme are listed below:
No enrolment is required to participate in the voluntary CPD scheme. Participants are invited to submit the CPD Record Form for CPD programmes/activities completed during 1 January 2010 to 31 December 2010 to the Secretariat, Radiographers Board by fax at 2865 5540 or by mail to 2/F, Shun Feng International Centre, 182 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong or by e-mail to info@smp-council.org.hk on or before 31 January 2011. Registrants who have attained 15 CPD credits (at least 12 credits of which should be for undertaking profession-related CPD activities and at most 3 credits for other healthcare or information technology related CPD activities) may be awarded a certificate.
