The
Radiographers Board has decided to continue the voluntary continuing professional
development (CPD) scheme for three more years with effect on 1 January
2009. All registered radiographers are invited to participate in the voluntary
scheme.
The Board has recently reviewed the scheme and made
a number of amendments to sections 2.6, 3.3, Form II and Annex of the
Manual for CPD.
Details of the scheme are listed below:
No enrolment is required to participate in the voluntary CPD scheme. Participants are invited to submit the declaration form and record sheet for CPD programmes/activities completed during 1 January 2009 to 31 December 2009 to the Secretariat, Radiographers Board by fax at 2865 5540 or by mail to Central Registration Office, 17/F, Wu Chung House, 213, Queen's Road East, Wan Chai or by e-mail to info@smp-council.org.hk on or before 30 June 2010. Registrants who have attained 15 CPD credits (at least 12 credits of which should be for undertaking profession-related CPD activities and at most 3 credits for other healthcare or information technology related CPD activities) may be awarded a certificate.
