Terms of Reference of the Registration Committee
- To approve applications for registration under section 12(1)(a) of the Allied Health Professions Ordinance (AHPO).
- To give advice to the SMP Council Registration Committee on the eligibility of applicants for registration under section 12(1)(b) of the AHPO.
- To approve the registration of applicants found by the SMP Council to be qualified for registration under section 12(1)(b) of the AHPO.
- To determine which applicants should sit for an examination held under section 15A of the AHPO.
- To make recommendations to the Board in updating the list of registrable qualifications under section 12(1)(b) of the AHPO.
- To determine the removal and restoration of occupational therapists under section 10 of the AHPO.
- To decide on the quotable qualifications, their abbreviations and Chinese translation for inclusion on signboards and stationery other than those qualifications registrable under section 12(1)(a) and (b) of the AHPO.
